What
are eBooks?
Ebooks stands for electronic books. The ebook is a computer
file. You can read it on a PC or on a special reader.

Why should I use an ebook rather than a paperback?
You can fit a couple of thousand eBooks on a modern laptop.
Imagine taking that number of paperbacks in your briefcase.
You can download and start reading an ebook in a few minutes.
An ebook allows you to find a reference instantly and
to copy small pieces of text to paste into other documents.
Paperbacks will always have their place (eBooks are difficult
to read in the bath), therefore we have provided a link
so that you can buy a paper copy of any published ebook
if you want to. This service is provided in association
with Amazon Books.

What equipment do I need to read an ebook?
If you have a modern PC this will allow you to read all
ebook formats. You will need to download
some software to allow you to do this. You
can also use "Microsoft Reader" books on a pocketPC
/ Windows CE machine.

What formats does Hidden Cave support?
All eBooks on Hidden Cave are in "Microsoft Reader"
format as this is currently the most flexible format. We
will soon provide books in OEB 1.01 format as well, allowing
the books to be read on other systems including the Palm.

turn it into an ebook. There is no charge for this service
and you can then sell your book in the Hidden Cave. We
