Some of my friends joined a creative writing group a few years ago. After a few weeks I found myself eagerly waiting to see what they had written. There was a huge range of work, some of it was autobiographical, some total fantasy, funny pieces and poignant. Most of the work took only 5 to 10 minuites to read but it had a big effect on me. I saw my friends in a different way and I wanted to read more. This was the main reason that this section was created.

The creative chamber is the place to find new writing, mainly short stories but also some longer pieces. This section is still in its infant stages and soon there will be something for everyone.

If you want to discuss one of the books that you have found here then please put a message on the message board. Tell us the story of how a book affected you or ask a question about the plot or author. Other cavers will be able to reply to your message.

If you are a writer then perhaps someone can help with your Research. How much was the train fare from London to Ascot in 1958? How close do you need to get for a handgun to be accurate? Ask on the messageboard.
