THIS AGREEMENT IS MADE BETWEEN:
(1) The Author as identified on the submission form (the Author); and
(2) Hidden Cave, 48 Ivy Road, Southampton, SO17 2JN (the Publisher).

the date of the agreement shall be when the submission form and email attachment are recieved by the Publisher.

IT IS HEREBY AGREED as follows:

1. The Author will submit a file as an email attachment containing a manuscript (the Work),

2. Within 30 days of receipt of the Work, the Publisher agrees to notify the Author if the Publisher finds the work unsatisfactory in form or content. The Publisher also agrees to provide the Author with a list of necessary changes. The Author agrees to make the changes within 30 days. If the Publisher still reasonably rejects the Work as unsatisfactory, the Publisher may terminate this contract.

3. The Author grants the Publisher the internet publishing Rights in the Work. Any rights not specifically granted to the Publisher shall remain with the Author. The Author agrees not to exercise any retained rights in such a manner as to adversely affect the value of the rights granted to the Publisher.

4. The Publisher shall pay to the Author upon acceptance of the Work the amount of 50% of any sales of the work. Payment will only be paid when the amount exceeds the sum of £10. In the event of the amount being less than this amount when the contract is terminated the payment will be passed to either the NSPCC, RSPCA or Terrance Higgins Trust.

5. The style, format, design, layout, and any required editorial changes of the published work shall be in the sole discretion of the Publisher.

6. The Author warrants that:
(a) the Work is the sole creation of the Author;
(b) the Author is the sole owner of the rights granted under this contract;
(c) the Work does not infringe the copyright of any other work;
(d) the Work is original;
(e) the Work is not obscene, libelous, and does not invade the privacy of any person;
(f) all statements of fact in the Work are true and based upon reasonable research.

7. The Publisher acknowledges that the Author retains worldwide copyright in the Work.

8. The Publisher agrees that, within 30 days from the receipt of a satisfactory manuscript of the Work, the Work will be published at Publisher's sole expense. If the Publisher fails to do so, unless prevented by conditions beyond the Publisher's control, the Author may terminate this Contract.

9. This contract is the complete agreement between the Author and Publisher. No modification or waiver of any terms will be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.

10. This contract may be cancelled by either party (Author or The Publisher) with 14 days notice by email. The work will be removed from the HiddenCave web site and any royalties will then be settled in accordance with clause 4.
